In 2008 NDRA was awarded the Horizon Award and theAward of Excellence by the International Reading Association for our hard work and dedication of members who actively promote literacy for North Dakota’s children and adults through participation in state and local activities.The organization is committed to universal Literacy. Nine local councils met the requirements for Honor Council in 2009.
