TEAMWork Symposium

( Work to Teach ELLs with Academics in Mind) on September 19 & 20, 2008

Sylvia Linan Thompson will be coming to MSU Moorhead to do training on reading interventions for struggling English Language Learners.

North Dakota Reading Association is a Council of the International Reading Association and was founded in 1968. NDRA has local councils in all parts of the state with a current enrollment of 1583 members. Association members are educators involved with literacy from all areas of education, many are classroom teachers, librarians, Title 1 teachers, administrators, Reading Specialists, college students and professors.

In 2007 NDRA was awarded the President's Cup and Award of Excellence by the International Reading Association for our hard work and dedication of members who actively promote literacy for North Dakota’s children and adults through participation in state and local activities. The organization is committed to universal Literacy.
